On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, seven livelihood resources were distributed to small fishermen in the SFAX region, under the supervision of local and regional authorities and the social affairs department in the region.

This significant economic event was attended by the delegate of MAHRES, acting on behalf of the THYNA delegation, along with the mayors of THYNA and GARGOUR, and a representative of social affairs from the AGAREB delegation.

These development projects benefited five individuals from THYNA and two from AGAREB .

These development projects fall within the framework of continuing to support the state’s efforts and further promoting economic empowerment, which aims to enhance individuals’ ability to take control of their lives and achieve their goals by providing them with livelihood resources.

The economic empowerment process for these beneficiaries involves increasing their capacity and control over basic economic and financial resources, helping them transition from a lower economy to a stronger economic position, thereby granting them material independence in the first place.
