As part of supporting the state’s efforts, under the supervision of the ministry of health, and in collaboration with its staff and the local and regional authorities in the KASSERINE region, this solidarity and humanitarian project was established. .

The project involves the creation of an ophthalmology department at the KASSERINE regional hospital, supported and funded by the Kuwaiti AL-NAJAT charitable association, and implemented by the NETWORK FOR DEVELOPMENTAL ASSOCIATIONS ”OLIVE BRANCH’.

It will provide eye surgeries at the university ophthalmology department of the regional hospital ALOUI BADREDDINE in KASSERINE , which was inaugurated with around 10 surgeries performed daily. The medical interventions include lens implants, laser treatments, and cataract removal for the benefit of eye patients in KASSERINE and neighboring regions. This is while awaiting the completion of the second operating room, which is currently under study.
